Resources: set up a SideSwap wallet

DePix lives on the Liquid Network. To receive it you need a wallet that supports Liquid. This guide shows how to set one up before you register.

1. 1. Install a Liquid wallet

   SideSwap creates the Liquid address you register with us, so start there. Afterwards you can move your DePix to another wallet such as AQUA or Blockstream Green if you prefer. Install each wallet only from its official website or your phone's app store.

2. 2. Write down your seed phrase

   The wallet shows a list of recovery words. Write them on paper and keep them offline. Anyone who has them controls your funds. PixParaDePix will never ask you for them.

3. 3. Copy your Liquid address

   Open the receive screen, choose the Liquid network and copy the address, which starts with lq1. This is the address you enter when you register; your DePix is sent there.

4. 4. Double-check the address

   Send nothing to an address you have not checked. Compare the first and last characters of the address you pasted with the one in your wallet.
